Unbound Konnect helps Minority Parents of Autistic Children
Parent University is here to promote school success no matter the child’s emotional or economic background by closing the services gap. For the parents of children diagnosed with autism, those issues can feel even more frustrating.
Unbound Konnect, started by Parent U Alumni Kiarra Morgan, looks at those problem gaps, helping parents and their children. She credits the lessons she learned from taking part in the courses of Parent University. 
“That is the purpose of Parent University, to connect different parents… to be a support system for each other,” says Tameshia Harris, Parent University’s Director.
“We encouraged her to find her voice. I am so proud of her.”
